Hessian Standards of the American Revolution painted in 1775
This set of standards represents those carried by the Hessian regiments in the American Revolution. These are taken from photos made from the original contemporary watercolors in the state archives in Marburg, Germany and are rarely ever reproduced. We have done a minimum of restoration to preserve the feel of the original works.
