Of all the uniform chroniclers of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries there is no better known or more important name than the publisher Moritz Ruhl. RuhlÕs little books of prints, printed on inexpensive paper and hand colored using a rudimentary stencil system covered all the different armies of the period in exquisite and most complete detail. We offer a large selection of reprints here done in a larger size on better paper with many of the coloring flaws carefully digitally corrected. They are in most cases better than the originals. |
