This is a terrific set of 16 plates covering the typical army of one of the minor European states of the late 19th Century, It covers all the branches of service - even the NAVY!- I didn't even know Rumania had a navy till we did this set of plates! One of the most interesting aspects of the army is that officers wore green uniforms while the infantrymen, reserve and gendarme soldiers wore blue. This is truly one of our most interesting sets.
