From the destruction of the Roman Legion in the Teutobergian Forest to the end of World War II, Germany and the German States have figured in nearly every military action in European History. This set of 63 plates taken from German Cigarette cards published in the period between WWI and WWI covers the period from 1683 to 1935. Infantry and Cavalry units are represented in close up military scenes in battle and drill. This is a rare and highly detailed set of prints that we have enlarged. Originally only a little over a couple of inches square the art and historical accuracy of these pints is AMAZING. Through the use of modern computer technology and a new program from Kodak™ we have done a masterpiece of restoration. See all the prints from this series.
