Two different and opposing armies of the American Revolution. The Army of Hesse-Kassel which fought on the side of the British through most of the war and in many engagements. These prints come from photos of contemporary watercolors in German archives. This set includes 10 prints of standards and 20 of the troops and officers (30 plates). The second group is made up of 30 plates commissioned in the 1960's by Bob Cowan of Militaria depicting the Army of Spain and New Spain who fought under the command of the Galvez, the Spanish Governor of Louisiana.
