The Dutch Army 1895-1900
Though not a "major" power the Dutch from their tiny country had colonial interests in the East Indies and as all other European countries maintained a military force and had military tradition. The East Indies Colonies were particularly rich and would later be a major "trigger" in the Japanese entry into what would become WWI. This great set of prints was published in Holland in 1900 and covers the entire army including a number of plates of the army in the colonies.
