Brauer-Bogen Plates- Now available as prints!

This set of over 50 plates was produced in the 1960's. The art work was done with meticulous research by Herbert Knötel (son of Richard Knötel) and the originals were hand colored. While the artwork is not quite to the standards of his father's work it is adequate and the research and accuracy of the illustrations more than makes up for the artistic shortcomings. These plates are a substantial addition to any military uniform research library. Each pair of plates is $2.95 ppd in the U.S. * We have had a great deal of work to do on this series- even though they are not old the original paper and watercolors have not reacted well together and the colors of the originals were quite faded and the papers had yellowed quite badly. All is well as our restorations are perfect, and these are now printed on a superior paper with inks that do not fade!
