Uniformology is a small publishing company specializing in military uniform history of the 17th, 18th and 19th Centuries and the 20th Century through World War I. All of our books are carefully and accurately researched by a staff almost 100 years combined experience in the field. Our main focus is accuracy and detail down to the finest details.

Each book is illustrated with an unprecedented amount of colored prints both from our massive collections by famous artists like Knötel, Detaille, and J.O.B. as well as our own resident artist Bruce Bassett-Powell.

Knowing that our customers demand the finest in detail we eschew uncorrected versions of the original prints and with many hours of research each print has been completely restored using computer graphics to enhance color and accuracy. The example of a before and after section from one of our restored Knötel prints from Book Number 28, The Army of Hanover 1816-1850 at right is an example of the restoration process.
